Lisbon Time: Spring

Spring in Lisbon kept like a calendar: from an almond tree that has already finished flowering to the last night of May. In between, the weather everyone here recognises. Sixteen degrees. Rain and sun in the same afternoon. Light that holds until nine. Lyrical in places, high-spirited in others, theatrical all the way through.
