WHAT A COOKIE IS

A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. It may hold the language you chose, what is in your basket, or the fact that you already answered the cookie question. The same rules apply to related technologies: browser local storage and tracking pixels.

THE RULE WE WORK BY

Article 5 of Lei n.º 41/2004 (the Portuguese law on privacy in electronic communications), as amended by Lei n.º 46/2012, is blunt about it: storing anything on your device, or reading anything already stored there, requires your prior consent, given after clear and complete information. There is one narrow exception, for what is technically necessary to transmit a message or to deliver a service you asked for yourself.

Consent as a legal basis sits in article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Article 7(1) puts the burden on us to demonstrate that consent was given. Article 7(3) lets you withdraw it at any moment, and withdrawing must be as easy as giving.

WHAT LANDS ON YOUR DEVICE BEFORE YOU ANSWER

We are not going to claim more than we can verify. Categories are assigned by the consent service, not by the site owner, so instead of a comfortable sentence about loading nothing but the strictly necessary, here is the actual list.

Before you press anything in the consent window, your device receives: the core Wix platform files, which hold your session, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, keep you on the same server for the length of your visit, and give your browser a technical visitor identifier - the page does not assemble without them; the consent record itself, which stores your answer and exists so that we stop asking you and can demonstrate your choice under article 7(1) GDPR; the chat window, if you open it, and your account session, if you have signed in on this site before and that session is still alive.

Everything else on this page is supposed to wait for your decision. We say so, and we verify it by measurement rather than by trusting a setting.

WHAT WE FOUND WHEN WE SCANNED THIS SITE, AND WHAT IT MEANS

On 20 August 2026 a technical scan of this site found eight components. This is not a promise of what should be here: it is a record of what was actually there on that date. We list it in full, including the part that does not read comfortably.

On the marketing block specifically. We are not going to write the comfortable sentence that no marketing tools are connected here, because that would not be true. Google Tag Manager, Google Tag Services, a Meta pixel and YouTube's own tracking are present on this site, and they sit in the Marketing category, which the banner is required to hold back until you consent. We take that requirement at face value: these files should not run before you answer, and if a check ever shows otherwise, this page and the setup itself get corrected the same day, not quietly.

What the scan does not cover. A scan reads the pages it visits at the moment it runs; it does not guarantee that every page, every language layer and every logged-in state was included. Beyond the eight components above, this site also runs Wix apps that only become active once you use them: the members area once you sign in, the booking flow once you start reserving a session, forms and invoices once you submit or pay. Those files are essential in the ordinary sense, they exist only because you asked for the thing they support, and they were not separately itemised by this scan because they do not load for a visitor who has not triggered them.

THE CATEGORIES IN THE SETTINGS WINDOW

Essential. These make the site open, forms submit, sessions stay secure. They cannot be turned off, and the law does not require consent for them.

Functional. These remember your preferences so you do not set the same thing twice. They load with your consent.

Analytical. These show which pages people read and where they stop. They load with your consent.

Marketing. Advertising and retargeting tools, including embedded content from third-party platforms. They load with your consent.

You may also see a technical Unknown category: that is how the consent service labels files its scan could not place. Nothing was placed there in our scan.

The exact lifetime of every file is shown inside the banner: open "Cookie settings" and expand the service you want to know about.

WHO RECEIVES THE DATA

Wix.com Ltd., the platform this site is built on. It processes data on our instructions.

Usercentrics GmbH (Germany), the processor that collects and keeps consent records.

Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Tag Services, Google Maps, YouTube), where you have allowed the relevant category.

Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook Pixel), where you have allowed the marketing category.

Our payment provider, shown at checkout, if you pay for something here. Full payment credentials stay with the provider. We neither receive nor store them.

Some of these companies process data outside the European Union, in particular Google and Meta. Those transfers rely on European Commission adequacy decisions and on standard contractual clauses under Chapter V GDPR.

HOW LONG THE CONSENT RECORD IS KEPT

Three years, then it is deleted. Change your choice in the meantime and a new record replaces the old one.

CHANGING YOUR MIND

Any time, no reason required. In the banner: the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of the screen reopens the window you saw the first time. In your browser: every browser lets you delete stored files and block new ones, usually under "Privacy" or "Site settings".

Withdrawal works going forward. It does not undo what happened while the consent was valid.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask for access to your data, for correction or deletion, for processing to be restricted, for your data in a portable format, and you can object to processing. Those are articles 15 to 22 GDPR. Write to info@allportugalmedia.com and we will answer within the one month set by article 12(3) GDPR.

If you think we handled something badly, you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority: Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (National Data Protection Commission), www.cnpd.pt.

CHANGES TO THIS PAGE

We update it whenever a new service that stores something on your device is added, or when a rescan changes what we find. The date at the top says when that last happened.
